Started at first light, caught two keepers in the first hour or so. Caught a bunch of short fish. Didn't catch as many as I usually do, but I was just pitching a jig all day. I needed a day of just using the jig to get my confidence back up on it. I will say this, you would have thought it was Labor Day with the number of pontoons on the water. I guess it was the dickboaters last hurrah. After they shook off the hangover at noon, it was mostly unfishable out there. I almost wish it was a little colder and a little rainy, that usually makes for a good day of fishing without getting knocked around by the wake machines.

BTW, used a Paca Craw all day, water temps still in the high 60's to mid 70's. Water was stained quite a bit, maybe the lake is starting to turn, or was till this high pressure front sat down on top of us. I can't tell.
