Lake #4 is a FiNS Lake. http://fw.ky.gov/urbanfishing.asp There are several others in Jefferson County.

Most years they've stocked it by this date with rainbow trout. I assume they're going to soon, or maybe they already have, and just haven't updated the site. Once they do, those trout are easy to catch. For a kid, some corn under a bobber would be a good bet, or minnows if you think they're up to the task. My favorite lure is a Super-Duper, but rooster tails and spinners work well too. I fish from the riprap (dam) like Art mentioned, but I've seen people doing well from the grassy part of the bank. Avoid the area right at the base of the hill coming down from the parking lot, right next to the dam. They also stock that lake with bass and catfish on a regular basis. I've never seen any bass of any size come out of there, but I've seen a few people take home nice baskets of catfish.
