Put in at dawn at Briar Creek. Starting fishing secondary coves, caught some short fish on craw imitators. Topwater bite is dead for the most part, no buzzbait bite, no spook bite. Didn't even see any real jumps to speak of. Had to fish pretty slow. Got a couple of reaction bits up real close to the shore on a swimbait and a buzzbait, right when it hit the water. I must have hit them on the head, they were two decent sized spotted bass. Caught probably about 8 or so, two being keepers, best one was probably pushing about 2lbs. The wind really kicked up around none. Water was down about 3 1/2'.
