Not to be a skeptic or anything, but if you notice on the video it doesn't show him casting...only reeling in 3 fish.
I like my Mahi-Mahi lightly blackened like they cook at Phillipi Creek Oyster Bar in Sarasota.
I think he was referring to the triple catch in the original video. There are no multiple catches in the one linked here.

I only posted it because I thought they wanted to know how to cast it or to see it cast, as I said before I youtubed the heck out it because I thought it was fascinating -
A friend of mine just got back from the BFL Regional at Lake Wheeler an said that the winner on the boater side won the tournament on a rig like the Alabama Rig.I've heard of haveing a couple of baits on 1 rod but not however many is on that rig.Not sure what I think of the Rig tournament wize.Just my thought's, an not a tournament fishermen myself.
Fair enough, maybe I'm the one on the wrong wavelength!
I can see why it would be popular as it's sure to resemble a small shoal of baitfish if it's running correctly. As mentioned though, surely soon to be banned from tournaments if not already!

Sweetwater, I hope to be in Florida with my oldest son during his Spring break. Hopefully we can get us some Mahi then.
If you don't get a mahi there are plenty of other saltwater fish that are very tasty. Have fun.
