got an high priced rod i have had for a few years and notice sunday the tip has a groove inside the eye that is fraying my line. just wondering if there is anyway to fix it without replacing the whole tip. seems that when i have replaced tips before the rod just never is the same. didnt know if there is something u could do to the eye to fill in the groove and maybe file or sand down smooth again? dont know just wondering! thanks to all.
