Anybody fished Barren lately?

Just wondering if anybody has fished Barren lately, and if so how they are catchin them? I am assuming they are in the creeks and coves back towards the creeks. I know the big tourney was down there last week and 40+ lbs won it in 3 days. I plan to fish Saturday afternoon through the evening and was wondering if it would be worth it? In other words, is there a chance that they will be biting? I know another cold front has made its way into Southern Kentucky. Thanks for all info.

Fished yesterday am for 3 hours, caught 8 bass, 3 keepers, 2 of them 3lbs.
Caught 7 of them in bays on buzz bait, one of biggest 15' deep on shakeyhead.
Slower than I would have thought.
