I am coming down this week, is anybody catching any smallmouth or largemouth down by the dam area? I will be fishing between Beaver and Indian creek and up in beaver. Thanks for any help. You can pm me if you want.

Was down there a week or two ago & fished beaver. Hope you have better luck than we did. We caught 6-7 ky's all around 10-12 inches. That's it, no SM or LM. We threw everything from jigs, cranks, shakey heads, spinnerbaits, topwater. Everything, they just weren't biting. Bad part is we ran all the way to beaver from Conley, we were fishing a tournament. Wasted a lot of gas. Cumberland has disappointed me this year. But if you go, I wish you luck.

We went down wed. to pre fish very tough. Fished main lake around beaver. A couple little fish. Loaded the boat up drove down to c. bottom, put the boat in and done better. No keeper smallies but 15-20 fish around 14 to 16 inches. Just cant get on the bigger fish.
