Pre-frontal conditions are a much better time to fish, if you have an option. The high pressure after a cold front is the hardest time to fish, but if your like most fisherman you fish when you can.

I know I am asking a loaded question, but here it goes..... What is everyone experience this time of year fishing around weather fronts? Do you like high pressure or low pressure? I ask because I am very unsure over this as a younger fisherman. I plan on going bassin' Wednesday which is the day before another fall front rolls through with high pressure and it got me thinking. I would really appreciate all the wisdom and years of experience on here. Thanks in advance for your input!!!

Pre-frontal generally speaking is best especially this time of year into the spring as warming becomes an additional trigger and usually pre-front brings southwest winds and warm temps. Post front can be very good especially right after when it is still cloudy / rainy / snowy. When the blue skies set in after a front is usually when they shut down.

I agree with what has been said however I think that the spring fishing is more affected than the fall with weather movements.
