Haven't been out here for a while, usually bass fish smaller lakes on private property and don't have a lot of good information to share on the larger lakes. I do try to make CL 2 or 3 times a year for striper. Anyway, I did make it down this past weekend. Fished hard for 3 days, just before sun-up to right after sun-down. 2 fish, 28" and a dinker, C&R. A little dissapointing. Fished 8 rods w/ 6" gizzards anywhere from 20'-50'. Stayed on main lake between Jamestown and Beaver. Also, fished mouth of Wolf and Beaver. Water temp between 64-65. Had primo bait, winds were light, and 2 fish! Really thought this would have been a better trip. Have the fish already moved back in to the creeks? Thinking about giving it another try in mid-December. I'll post again if I do.
