When I worked downtown there was 36 or 38 places a day where someone could get a free meal. So I would give panhandle's a ride to the JC Motel. If I was on a run I would make them rip up their sign.

Sorry Tyme, missread somwhat, also a couple other posts spoke of begging for food. Yea if he was smart he wouldnt be begging at the grocerey store, geez.

Brother, no problem at all. I was just posting this incident because I'm an old coot that doesn't get out often anymore. I worked with the public (Pharmacist) for over 30 years and I avoid people (the public) since I quit-tired.Originally Posted by Bobby Headrick

That being said, you better at least try to give me proper service. If a clerk "snaps" at me, I'll smile and ask "Having a bad day?" and attempt to diffuse the situation. If the attitude continues..............well I'll let them know exactly how they should properly deal with customers.
