CR today

The Cr is famous for it's cold thick fog and that was no exception today. launched at Winfreys went almost to Burksville. I think the lake has turned over or something as water had a brownish tint not like last week. Had to work hard for trout today caught maybe 15 yet my partner caught 2 nothing worth mentioning. Did have some big trailer fish turn at the boat. (promising) Was wondering why I never fished the CR in the late fall as I've been fishing the Cr since late 80's. Reason was before dam repair they would be dropping the lake anywhere from 20,000 to 30,000 cfs. Way to fast and deep for me. nice day on the river once sun broke through and thawed out my fingers.

No signs of strippers that I saw. Don't really fish for them we were only one on river saw no other boats.
