Tim, these numbers are strictly profit made by each teams athletic department and have nothing to do with spending, research dollars etc. of the University as a whole.

What Louisville has, and the reason their athletic department is so successful and profitable is their athletic director is the best in the country.

The reason U of L is called little brother is because a seriously drunken basketball coach that was at UK called them that, and UK fans latched on to it as some type of battle cry. I guess I would rather have my team called little brother as opposed to the Blackbirds, which is what many of their racist fans called the Cards back in the late 70's and early 80's.
