I love skiing at night - we usually do the 5 pm to 3 am ticket. I too am usually one of the last few on the slopes. Snowshoe is definitely on the to-do list. In your opinion, which side of the mountain is the best? And there's nothing like a good ol' ice cold PBRNever been to perfect north yet I hear ya on the expense of Snowshoe. Perfect North doesn't have the Mid-night package like Paoli as I like to get in as many runs as I can and avoid the waiting in line. I'm usually last one on the slopes in the wee hours of the morning. You only live once so head on out to Snowshoe and enjoy yourself. There's unique shops a plenty on top the mountain. Also has a bar at the bottom of a certain slope. $5 gets you a 24 oz. can of good ol' PBR![]()
I have two seasons:
1 bow hunting for deer season
2 the rest of the year: listen to the wife and fish when I can
I do the 9pm to 3pm. Nothing like skiing down and getting right on the lift. Colder the better as it slows down the crowd.
In march they have supersaver rates. About 40 percent off and plenty of snow. The first week of the low rates is a good time to go. Also if you stay at The Inn at Snowshoe at the bottom you can save a lot. If you know where to park at the top it works out to be pretty convenient.
Side of the mountain depends on what type ot terrain you want to ski.
yeah peter that's what I'm talkin about. You been there. Don't forget the hot tub! And bring your own booze as I couldn't find a package store in the area. nothing beats a good shot of Hot D#m on the lift.In march they have supersaver rates. About 40 percent off and plenty of snow. I will pass on the slopes, I think Iwill cash in some Frequent flyer miles from all those job traveling years and fly down to Floridai n Jan or Feb where my friend winters and fish the Big O.![]()
It never ends here in Ky - there is something to love about every month. However, I think if you have twins, it gets put on hiatus for a little while...That is my situation now. I have a boat collecting dust and accumulating debris, but it is worth it. My point is, if you can get out - go. They make clothing to help you be comfortable in any temps, so take advantage of that.
