Monday-Daylight put in at Kuttawa, fish around those few creeks and ran down to Eddy Creek....One keeper and probably 10 fish, most flipping

Tuesday-Daylight put in at KDV and worked the LBL side of KY down close to the bridge....10-15 keepers and probably 30 fish, all on moving baits

Wednesday-Daylight put in at KDV, went down the LBL side of KY trying to match our pattern but not as much as success....4-5 keepers and probably 15 fish

Thursday-Daylight put in KDV with the wind a little high and found out why you should always have a strap on your trolling motor...Took off across KY toward the main channel, took a wave wrong, and the trolling motor broke...Back off the lake, took it Jet-A-Marina and they had me back on the water in about 5 hours....great service from the guys there...Only got to fish a couple hours but had probably 25-30 fish around KDV and some of the pockets straight across KY

Friday-Went back to check our fish that we'd found Tues and they were still there....Caught a few and headed out of there...Wound up with about 20 fish and 3 or 4 keepers in about half a day

Saturday-First day of tournament...Went to our fish, picked up a limit in the first 45 minutes and left our fish alone as it was a 2 day tournament...Went looking for a big bite and couldn't find it...Wound up with about 25 fish and 8 keepers, best 5 weighed just under 12lbs

Sunday-day 2 of the tournament and a 20mph south wind at takeoff....Never made it far enough south to get to our fish as we were fighting the rollers...Boat took a pounding as I broke a knob off the trolling motor and a wall of water broke my GPS mount as I speared a wave...Quickly realized the water was too big and turned around and headed back north...Got in a bay that was sheltered by the wind and started catching them....Had probably 12-15 keepers and close to 40 fish...Best 5 weighed just under 14lbs

Wound up with 25.4lbs for the tourny and finished 10th...Of course they only payed the top 9 but I was fairly pleased as this was only my 3rd trip to the big lakes...Most of our fish were caught 3/4 of the way back in the bays and were caught pretty much along the same lines of Daves reports
