Got the big skunk fished for sauger even had minnows , fished up below the interp center in the eddie, fished the duck pond, fished the mouth of silver creek and up in it a bit, then went back to the hydro and fished around #8 ...Not the first bite ..Water was really muddy

I am puzzled ,I rarely get skunked on the riv

I haven't sauger fished much but some of my buddys go a lot they tell me they have better luck when the weather conditions are really crappy.maybe it was just to pretty of a day!

Jay, you might have been skunked but at least you were out on the river.
