Well, I leave Friday for a week at Cumberland. If I don't have any by then, it will end up a winter time project. How'd you make yours? I've done jigs but never spinner baits, and I guess that's the type mold and supplies you would use...

I will give you one bit of advice if you're going to be using it for the stripes.....Upgrade the snaps if you buy an A Rig.....My buddy hooked a big hybrid? I guess on KY Lake and it straightened the snap out in a hurry...I'd see about getting some of the saltwater snaps for fish that big

you can get on fleabay and find some pretty good knockoffs at very reasonable prices...then just go purchase some swimbait heads and swimbaits and youre ready to go
I make my own rig, so I got many diff sizes and lb test snaps and just change them out according to the species...I will give you one bit of advice if you're going to be using it for the stripes.....Upgrade the snaps if you buy an A Rig.....My buddy hooked a big hybrid? I have used both molds...just dont make them too heavy...i used a 1/4oz jig head mold, it ends up veing less due to the trimming. But it looks clean and after last night its proved that it will catch fish and hold up...not for sure about a 30lber but would like to put it to the test. The back of Beaver is absolutely loaded with shad and stripes and was that way all day...only seen 3 fish caught all day and we had 2 of the 3, water temp was 60° at Beaver lodge and 55° in the back of Beaver.....After dark just watch ur graph, if we found fish we either caught them or got bit....good luck bro...!
