Crankbaits last a long time. Rarely do I lose one, especially since I am able to retrieve about 95% of the snagged ones with my crankbait retrieval tool.

So with that being said, the amount spent isn't that big of a deal since I'll have it for a long time and catch a lot of fish with it.

I don't look at expensive baits being better either - price is of no concern...some cheaper baits work better than expensive ones on certain days.

I do price shop though - it makes no sense to pay 40% more at one store simply because it's close to the lake when I can make an order online and be able to buy more baits for the same amount of money.
