well they finally pulled the plug on Green, 450 fps yesterday today 5130 fps

On 11/18 the lake is 675.85(summer pool is 675/winterpool 668) with the main gate set on 1.5 and a discharge of 5130cfs. That resuled in the lake falling only .32 because the lake still has a inflow of 2716 from the rain a few days ago. I noticed the projected gate setting for 11/19 is 1.0 with a discharge of 3565cfs. Even though they are going to reduce the outflow I would guess the lake should still fall around .25-.30 because the runoff/inflow should be slowing down. It wont be long and we will see the bottom really fall out because they normally crank up the main gate to 1.5 and the outflow to 7000cfs.

Typically when that happens they slow down the discharge rate because Barren,Rough,Nolin and a bunch of small streams all flow into Green River Lake tailwaters.It would be too much water for Green River to handle.
