    Winter Blues

For you frequent fishermen like me you know the feeling, But what I'm asking is what do you guys do to feed your fishin addiction during the colder months?

Unless the lakes ice over, you can always go crappie fishing. They usually respond positively.

I fish year round also. Not as much, but I go. Nice tourney out of Conoley Bottom on Cumberland. Fish in winter and classic in spring. I get real bad withdraws if I don't go. Wife says I get too grumpy.

Do more fishing from mid October until May than I do the rest of the year so winter don't bother me,just the condition of the Ohio river. Most of my fishing is for sauger and walleye and saltwater.

Usually fish up into december unless it gets to cold, hands and feet cant take it. I tie blue gill and crappie and bass jigs. Make several trips to bass pro and look around.

I went crappie fishing yesterday. When it gets really cold I frequent the internet a lot.

I put up the bass boat and break out the jon boat and go duck hunting....it's as equally addicting and you're still on the water. The eatin' isn't too bad either!
