Wasn't too cold this morning, water was really muddy down by Wax. Busted the bottom of my skeg off coming out of Rock Creek. Lost the rear fishing seat when taking off, went back to find it floating by the rocks two hours later. Caught about 22 on squarebill crankbaits, all in random places, most in the mouth of Dog Creek. Water was between 50 and 53 degrees, between .5' and 1.5' visibility. Water got clearer the further down lake you went. Wind was gusting pretty bad. After about 11 am the bite kind of died off for me, plus I got spot jumped by 5 @$$holes fishing the hosko tournament. I left about 2pm. Caught about 3 keepers, two really nice spotted bass.
