    NKY Lakes

I plan on bass fishing this Friday. I was going to go to Kinkaid, but with all the rain we've had, I'm sure it will look like chocolate milk. My fishing partner suggested Williamstown Lake. Anyone else have any ideas, or has anyone fished Williamstown recently? I've never been there, so looking for a few tips. Thanks!

i would try Bullock Pen or Boltz Lake for bass. Kincaid will be too muddy. AJ Jolly can be good at times too. Williamstown should be good too.

    Re: NKY Lakes

I agree with BassKy, Im in NKY and was thinking the same thing , yet Im going fishing on Sunday. As much as I would like to fish Kincaid , Im leaning towards Willaimstown. (due to water conditions) Keep us posted on where you decide to go and if you get time, fill us in on water color, temp, etc.

    Thank You,

Try Brookville - you never know what you will catch. Largemouth, Smallmouth, Walleye or Striper. I just get sick of the NKY lakes. We are so malnourished with our lakes up here. I need to move about two hours south.

My vote would be for one of the small lakes off of I-75 like Bassky said. Another option to consider is East Fork in OH.

Ok, sorry it took so long, but my computer at home broke. Went to Williamstown Lake on Black Friday. Water temp was 49 degrees. Stayed in coves near the dam, caught 4 LM between 3-4 lbs. beautiful fish.

You did better than I did. I only caught one bass the other day at Guist Creek.

    Re: NKY Lakes

NKY Lakes fishing report for this past weekend. I fished Saturday evening at Kincaid Lake, water conditions, were up a foot or so and very muddy maybe an inch if that of visibility, the temp varied between 48-51 degrees. Weather conditions were windy and sunny with a couple of clouds, did manage to get a LM, pitching plastics into lay downs. Sunday, fished Williamstown Lake, caught a LM on my 2nd cast then never got another one, fished for five hours in on off rain. Water was fairly clear in the main lake near the dam, yet coves and run off areas were muddy, water temps 50-52 degrees.
