If soft hackle flies weren't so versatile and effective, not to mention that I have caught the biggest trout I have ever caught (What can I say they where bustin' those little mayflies up in the surface film, what was I to do? Not catch em'?) on soft hackle flies, maybe I wouldn't tell everyone who would listen how awesome they are! By the way when are we gonna go fishin' again pal?

I definitely want to do that, and I do live in Alexandria. Problem is, I haven't been able to get up to bass pro to purchase a fly rod. I don't have any gear yet.
