Ok Bpl...today is the conclusion of round 1 for our teams.......![]()
Let's do it!
Worried Mills?
Been a good game so far.
Well Louisville wins by 16 @ Butler, IU wins by 16 @ home... if it comes down to it, tiebreaker, Louisville.
That was our worst game so far this year, partly due to Butler's effort, and we still win by 16....was 21 when we put our subs in! Louisville and IU would be a good game. UK will be our barometer in a few weeks though.
Not worried at all...IU had been shooting over 50% on the year and to start at 20% or less in the first half was sad.... So many missed gimmy's and wide open shots and t/o's was crazy....
Wasn't worried at all in the game..IU is such a 2nd half team, I knew we'd pull out to a comfortable lead and win....
You got to remember this was an in State game and Butler was fired up and ready to play this game.... Between both teams there were 17 kids from Indiana playing on the two teams...To me that says a lot about Indiana basketball players in general...These kids are staying home now and playing for Tradition rich programs that are located in Indiana.
If is a big word, but I really do think Indiana could have blew Butler out by 25 points or more if all cylinders were being hit in this game.
The UK/U of L game will have the same kind of deal going...In State game and both teams will be playing htier best to win....
Then again..When Indiana plays Notre Dame, another In State game so both teams will be trying to play their best again to win...
So no, there was no tie breaker in this game at all unless you want to call it for Indiana...From the point that we were up by 21 points when the subs went into the game and this being a In State game...So tie breaker goes to Indiana for sure...
Yes U of L played at Hinkle Fieldhouse...But as you say..Your ranked #7 in the Nation so playing on the road should not have been a factor at all for your team.......
So game on...Up next for us is UK....Playing the #1 team in the Nation at our Home......One of Indiana's biggest rivalry games of all and so far we have been owned by UK over the last 10 years...But were gonna give them a good game......
Going up there has me more concerned than them cards coming to Lex. Indiana is the real deal this year as for them cards I'm not impressed.
