I rabbit hunt in Hardin and Mead counties and have a hard time finding people that want to hunt. I have 4 good hounds and love the sport but the red tailed hawks and coyotes have decimated the rabbits in this area. I still go and enjoy watching the dogs work.

What you wrote is right in line with an article on Rabbit Hunting in this months issue of Kentucky Outdoor's. The article said there's still good rabbit hunting but now days the rabbits are closer to human habitat such as homes, barns, etc for the very reason you mentioned, coyotes...In order to stay away from the coyote's the rabbit's have moved closer to human habitat because Coyote's tend to stay away from human habitat.
