That said Uk and UL fans are tame compared to the slimeballs in Bloomington,my cousin's 5 year old son was spit on and told FU for wearing a UK shirt to the game,real classy IU.

I can't believe that a UK fan would call out Hoosiers like that, UK's fans are known nationwide for being jerks! Fans rush the court all the time in college ball....not very often here at IU for sure. Once last year, and not since 2002 before that. Suddenly its not ok for the biggest student section in the country to support the guys that represent their school? We stormed the court and noone got hurt......only a UK fan would compare that to the Cincy/Xavier mess. Not even in the same realm.......idiotic comparison!

WEll,I'm here to tell you that dozens of UK Fans at Assembly Hall were spit on,Said FU to,threatened with physical harm,had their cars keyed,surrounded after the game and threatened trying to leave.

If that happened the police should have been notified and had them arrested. That is absolutely unacceptable. I have never seen anything close to that at Assembly Hall......I am ashamed for those of us that would do that, 99% would not! I didn't call him an idiot.....it was a really bad comparison....attacked the comment, not him. Coach Knight used to get on the PA when students chanted obscenities. I have two buddies who were THERE at Nicks......and they both say it was rowdy and there were some KY fans there, but NOTHING OF THE SORT happened.

And, don't you suppose with all the video and smart phones going around that there would be video of this SOMEWHERE.

A person could switch the school names to any group of schools and possibly get the same thing. Alcohol, college ball, enthusiastic or crazed fans=confrontation. It happens on the high school level and lower at times so yes it could have happened. To me....who cares? UK got beat but I do feel Uk is the better team, just not at that moment.

Fans are fans and they will taint, slant or alter any story that helps shed good light on them and bad light on the opposition.
