    HYDROWAVE?

Anyone seen this unit at work, KVD is a partial owner and swears by it. I'd like to make this my next purchase but is it for real or a gimmick

I was wondering the same thing I was wanting to get one to. But wasn't for sure on it or not. I did see the flw with Paul elias and as soon as he turned his on he cought a fish a nice fish. And like you said kvd swears by it plus seeing that happen I'm leaning towered buying one. Would like to get others thoughts on it before I do.

As skeptical as I am I believe its the real deal. I have a lot of friends in Texas who say it makes a difference. One example a buddy of mine was fishing a school on a offshore hump, another boat was on the other side of the hump. Both boats catching one after another. My buddy turned the hydowave on and the other boat stopped catching fish, and eventually left the spot while my buddy kept whackin on em. Everybody that I know that owns one swears it works.

I have one and I have been using it since July/August. I can gaurantee that it is not a miracle machine, it is just another tool that may help you get a couple bites throughout the day. There is a learning curve to it, and I must say you will have vicious strikes right at the boat. The Paul Elias - change the setting make one cast thing was a fluke in my opinion. I especially like the thought that it helps offset the pinging of my locator.

Would I buy it again? yes probably. Do they have good customer service? TOP NOTCH!!! I got the 453rd unit made and the first ones had a leaking problem (they've fixed since) I called and they sent me a new one and I had it in 2 days, they said put the old unit in the box and ship it back postage prepaid!!!!

I can say from first hand experience it works, you will see increase activity at certain times - you pull into a backwater area and nothing is going on and then you start seeing activity and this happens on numerous locations! Is it a magic catch-all? Nope just a tool and if you are like me and think to yourself one or two extra bites may make a difference - then go for it. Oh and will the fish hit the boat like they claim? yes. Bass, whitebass, and shad will hit the boat from time to time.
