    Hello:

If you are not needing the extras the one I like is a Humminbird 597ci HD. It has good graphics, color, and can take the Navionics chip or an upgrade from Humminbirds web site. It runs approx $699.00. I have it on my Nitro and use it allot when fishing KY lake to find the channels or at night to navigate it seems to show allot of detail for the quality and price point. Good luck and Tight Linse

I've been using the Lowrance Elite 5 DSI this past year with the chartplotter, added the Fishin HotSpot chip. For a five inch unit in the console I have really been satisfied. BPS sales them for $650, Lowrance also has the Elite 5 (same without the Down Scan Imaging) with chartplotter for $550.

Does anybody know which chip will show creek channels on the gps? Navionics premium just shows river channel and contours but no creek channels. Maybe hot spots pro?
