I have never heard of anyone forgetting to tag a deer. Why is it that you like to defend game law violators? This is the second time in 2011 that you have done so.
Well I for one know of a friend of mine who forgot to tag his deer. We hunted together on the same piece of property. Both killed a deer and after I got my deer field dressed, I went to get my 4 wheeler. It wouldn't start and so my friend come to check it out. He was still trying to clean his hands at the time from gutting his deer. We got the 4 wheeler goin and loaded up my deer and then we went to get his. We loaded up the deer and headed to the truck and unloaded the deer in the bed of the truck. We then drove to the check in station / processer for the deer meat. Once there the guy went to check the deer and he noticed one deer had not been tagged. He asked my buddy about his tag, sure enough during the time of the 4 wheeler not starting and him helpin me out. He did forget to tag his deer, he pulled out his tag and then tagged the deer.
So yes sometimes people do forget to tag their deer.....
The first thing you are supposed to do is tag the deer, or in Kentucky's case write down the info on the back of your license. The carcass is not supposed to be moved until this is done.Well I for one know of a friend of mine who forgot to tag his deer. We hunted together on the same piece of property. How do you explain the waste of game meat? What about the illegal possession of a deer charge? I guess these are all just minor oversights on his part as well!

Like I said, people can forget..The guy who checked in the deer we had, had no reason to believe we had tried to poach the deer and let my buddy tag his kill....Got to be a stupid person to actually pull up to a check station and try to check in a deer and not have a tag for the deer.
But then again we got people in this world who always got to think about the negative side of things happening in life. Can't give a person the benefit of doubt.
Okay, lets say he accidentally forgot to tag his deer, fair enough. How do you explain the other two charges? Did he accidentally forget to butcher the meat as well?Like I said, people can forget..The guy who checked in the deer we had, had no reason to believe we had tried to poach the deer and let my buddy tag his kill....Got to be a stupid person to actually pull up to a check station and try to check in a deer and not have a tag for the deer.

What are you talking about, I never said anything about wasting meat, I just said he forgot to tag his deer. But tagged it as soon as the check station attendent asked him about his tag. we told the attendent what happened and nothing else was made of the situation. Why are you trying to make more out of it...Simple mistake and simple mistake was corrected.....
Clyde, I realize you are a little slow because of the meds and all, but I was talking about the other two charges against Lesnar. I wasn't referring to your friend. What are you talking about, I never said anything about wasting meat, I just said he forgot to tag his deer. Waste of game meat? Lots of wasted game meat splattered on the highways. The first thing you are supposed to do is tag the deer, or in Kentucky's case write down the info on the back of your license. The carcass is not supposed to be moved until this is done.

I guess it is okay then, geez I never thought about that! Remind me the next time you are chasing smallies on the Big South Fork. I will try and get down there the day before and catch a bunch and throw them on the bank for the coons. After all, lots of wasted fish dead in the water from other causes, no harm no foul!![]()
Great idea Tim thin them out as I'd hate to hit one of those smallies while driving down the road.I guess it is okay then, geez I never thought about that! Plead Guilty. In addition to "forgetting" to tag a deer, he also shot a mule deer and only took the cape and rack, left all the meat. Got no use for people like this. I am sure the defenders of wildlife violators club will be by shortly to explain how he accidentally forgot to bring the meat out and butcher the deer. After all, it is an honest mistake and could happen to anyone.

Happy to see him paying the price. Sure it's a small one but still on his record. I don't have a use for folks like this either.
