Help me out guys. Friday, I have to be out of the house all day, and I am thinking about going fishing. I don't want to go too far from home because the days are so short, so it is a choice between:
Lake Nolin
Lake Malone
or Rough River Lake.
I would like to fish for bass and crappie. And, I haven't decided if I am going to take my Hobie kayak or the Lowe Bass boat.
So for Friday, December 23rd, which one of these lakes would you choose and why?
I don't know about Malone, but NRL and RRL are pulling water hard trying to play catch up with all this rain we got. Plus it's gonna rain some more, which makes me think they will get muddy again. I am going way south I think this Friday, maybe Dale Hollow.Help me out guys. Friday, I have to be out of the house all day, and I am thinking about going fishing. If you go to Malone, you will have the best chance of catching a HOG. Several fish over 7lbs can be taken from there in the winter, but you probably wont get many bites.
Barren is really good for crappie right now. Water color good in creeks.
I.ve been wanting too hit Nolin but at winter pool, same for Barren.Malone would be my choice from your list.Others like Shanty Hollow & Briggs are closer too me.
