I was hunting near Ashes creek Sunday and the water was really muddy and backed way up into the creek. Also big balls of shad back there.

Guist creek looks good, haven't fished it but drove over the bridge.

are you bank fishing? If so then Taylorsville Lake at Boat ramp opposite of the Marina, sorry forget the name of ramp,if you have boat then either one. Not whole lot of places for kid at guest creek to fish bank!

Taylorsville is pretty high right now,
hopefully it'll be back down by next week.
Just depends on how much rain we get.

To answer a previous question, we'll be in the boat. I am thinking we'll fish jerk baits, paca craws in blue/black and after reading a snippet of an article in Bass Master, my son wants to fish spoons.

T-ville main lake water temp is 46 and muddy. The lake is above summer pool. Shad were in the creeks. Fished jigs, spoons, Jerk baits, and even live shad. And we gqot skunked.
