Day 1;
Monks brewing beer in the Middle Ages were allowed to drink five quarts of beer a day. (thinking then they went to early prayers and then to bed?)

Day 3;
Bavaria still defines beer as a STAPLE FOOD.
Day 4;
One of the reasons the Pilgrims landed at Plymouth Rock in 1620, rather than sail further south to a warmer climate was because their supplies were dwindling, especially the beer.
