Crappie fishing

Hit Giest today ( how cool to be able to Fish from a boat on 12/26?)Caught over 50 crappie, and wife is cooking some now! Should stay where they are till weather really turns

I fish Geist pretty regular myself mostly bass,we've caught crappie pretty good at times. I don't keep crappie often. Do you ever worry about the water & the fish at Geist. You know what I mean, you here the reports about the water every year.I'ts not what It used to be years ago.I think it's great that you've gotten out on the 26th and some fresh fish sounds great right now with the snow fallin.It's good to here someone out on the lake congrats!
