Santa brought me a fly rod this year. I'm pretty excited about it but I know absolutely nothing about fly fishing. Just wondering if anyone knew of any good sites, videos, or books that could get me started? Any suggestions or recommendations would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

There is no better book for the beginner than the Orvis Fly Fishing Guide. It covers everything from very basic to advanced. I have recently been attempting to learn to fly fish. The best place to start is in the front yard with a strand of yarn for a bait!
