For small c.b.'s i'm using a old quantum, 5-1, on a b.p.s. 7' med crankin stick. If i'm throwing really light baits, like a shad-rap, i've got a 6'6" b.p.s. Graphite series, spinning rod with a mitchell 300xe, or a 7' b.p.s. Graphite series, with a shamano cenna spining reel, tr
I use the BPS Crankin Stick in Med-Heavy for my sq bills. Seems to do well. I use the regular old revo with the 6:4:1 ratio.
I use a heavy action glass rod for my deep crankin with same reel.
I use a revo winch on a 7 ft medium heavy st croix premier crankin rod
Lews speed spool 4/7/1,ugly stick,10-12 pd mono.
Your winch will do fine, but for small cranks like bandit 200 go with a med or even med lt on the rod, needs a tad more flex with the smaller baits.I like the tip to flex yet still have backbone.
7ft medium glass cranking rod (Skeet Reese) Shamino Citica 6.2:1 Berkley Triline Big Game 15 pound has been a good combination for me.
I use a 6'6" Team Daiwa cranking stick (the one with the green handle) in a medium action for most of my shallow crankbaits. Reel is a Pflueger Patriarch spooled with 17lb fluoro, 6.3:1 retrieve.
7 foot St. Croix Mojo Bass crankbait rod matched with a BPS Johnny Morris 6.4.1.......love it and caught lots of good ones on it this year.
