Geo, I had to stop watching that when it jumped the shark by referring to U of L fans as the ones with a "sense of entitlement". Possible Freudian slip by the creator..?

100% correct.I'm a lifelong Wildcat fan who grew up trying to mimic fellow lefthander Kevin Grevey's jumper. I became a U of L fan as well a few years ago when a friend's son made the Cardinal squad.
Here's the difference in the hatred that I perceive. The hatred some Louisville fans have is for Kentucky fans. The hatred some Kentucky fans have is for the fact that Louisville exists.
Judging from what I know about fellow co-workers and anyone else I know of that walks around at this time of year with their red or blue sweatshirts or jackets...I'd say you're pretty much dead on the money.
All I can figure is UK fans still ain't got over that game in 83 or so, whenever it was they played the cards in the final four.
Oh well...good game!
Good game? That was a pitiful example of a game. 83 was 83 get with the times. This soon to be 2012. Just wonder why UL fans dwell so much on the past.Judging from what I know about fellow co-workers and anyone else I know of that walks around at this time of year with their red or blue sweatshirts or jackets...I'd say you're pretty much dead on the money.

See what I mean...it still rubs you all the wrong way. Just let it go man...it was a long time ago, lol...
Happy New Year Koon-Bro'
I think this shoe fits Koon-Bro very well...I'm a lifelong Wildcat fan who grew up trying to mimic fellow lefthander Kevin Grevey's jumper. I became a U of L fan as well a few years ago when a friend's son made the Cardinal squad.

Just cracks me up how you UL fans live in the past. All you can talk about is a game that was played 29 years ago? I didn't even watch the game as I was kayakin on the river. Watched a replay and if you ask me that was a sorry game. Glad I decided to enjoy the day instead of watch that mess. Pitino tried those dirty tactics last time he came to Rupp. The dirty birds dirty ball came back to bite em'. The UL- Memphis game was also marred by endless fouls. Can't beat them foul them. Happy New year to you to.
LOL...It never fails...works like a charm ever time I bring up that 29 or 30 year old game, lol...UK guys go ballistic...I guess I get a kick out of stirring the pot more than anything else. And I can see I got your goat on it pretty good, bwahahahahaha!!!!
And yea...that's about all I can talk about is that game..because you see...I don't think I've hardly watched any ball sports with any regularity at all since the days of Griffith, Pervis, Labradford Smith and who ever else was playing way back in the 80's...kind of like an alocoholic or a smoker...just woke up one day and decided I was missing out on a lot of good living by worrying about a ball team.
But I did catch about fifteen minutes of the game this year I tuned in when the Cards were down by 14 up until they were within 2 points, then it was time to leave...the UK/UL game is the one game I like to watch every year IF I happen to be around a television and IF I ain't got nothing better to do. I probably won't watch another game until tournament time...and even then I'll only watch it if the Cards are in it (maybe)...once again, depends on what else I have going on.
End-o-comments from me on this thread...Later!

Ugly game. Shooting by both teams at less than 30%....the game was there for the taking by either side.........awful display of basketball........
On a side note, Murray State keeps on winning...14-0 now. I hope the streak continues!
Go RACERS!
