Popular vote is a STRAW man argument, and I hate hearing it.

Look at voting statistics nationwide. LOOK precinct by precinct....

The Electoral College works pretty good, but a more TRUE representation of what folks really want would be an EC based on Precincts and not districts.

When an entire urban area votes one way because they are constantly TOLD what they will no longer be getting from Uncle Sam, that is not what I would consider a FAIR or FREE election. WOULD you cut off the hand that feeds you?

The VAST majority of this country, DEMOGRAPHICALLY speaking are disgusted with the handout mentality.

The VAST majority of URBAN centers DEMOGRAPHICALLY speaking are SCARED to DEATH of eliminating the handout mentality.

Anyone remember Walter Cronkite in his helmet reporting on how we got our rear ends kicked in the Tet offensive. The commies thought they were the ones that took the beating until they saw that. I saw an interview with one of the top communist leaders and he was saying they were ready to give up until they saw that. Then ole Walter says his opinion is we lost the war. I just wonder how many lives were lost because of his big mouth. Yes the media does have an influence on what goes on. Ho Chi Min also talked about winning the war not on the battle field but in the hearts and minds of everyone back home watching the war on T.V. I guess he knew our media pretty well.

So urban voters can't make proper choices? You are out doing your self with your inane babbling. You still believe that trickle down worked.

If you think it is inane babbling.......GREAT, you really think I give a rip what YOU THINK?

And with regards to urban voters.....YES I believe they can make choices. THEY CHOOSE TO CONTINUE TAKING A HANDOUT.......

Click on County Leaders if you REALLY want to get sick.

If elections were done by precincts instead of the EC and then count the precincts, you'd NEVER elect a socialist DEMOCRAT again.........NEVER.

Democrats ONLY win because they carry URBAN AREAS......ONLY REASON.

And since I'm not too sure if you UNDERSTAND what I'm saying, here is something else:

    http://elections.nytimes.com/2008/re.../explorer.html

Move the slider at the top to where there are only 1500 folks per sq mile instead of 28,000 folks per square mile. Once you hit that spot, McCain wins. PROVING my point that Urban areas vote exclusively for Democrats.

    Babble ON.

You hate the fact that the Supreme Court elected a president, yet the popular vote is a straw man argument. I'm having trouble following you.

that is pretty easy..........neither the Supreme Court or the popular vote is a good sampling of what the country really wants or thinks.

The supreme court is appointed by the PRESIDENT.

The popular vote is controlled by urban americans.

Use the links I provided and look at the urban centers, and then REMOVE them from the equation. Every MAJOR urban areas vote democrat.

So Ya, I stand by my assertions, in both cases

    Thanks,

    Geo
