Anyone remember Walter Cronkite in his helmet reporting on how we got our rear ends kicked in the Tet offensive. The commies thought they were the ones that took the beating until they saw that. I saw an interview with one of the top communist leaders and he was saying they were ready to give up until they saw that. Then ole Walter says his opinion is we lost the war. I just wonder how many lives were lost because of his big mouth. Yes the media does have an influence on what goes on. Ho Chi Min also talked about winning the war not on the battle field but in the hearts and minds of everyone back home watching the war on T.V. I guess he knew our media pretty well.
