Congratulations Split enjoy every day cause they fly by then the boys start coming around and you will need a big stick LOL my daughter is 38 now wow how time flys
Congrats Brian! You two are in for some special times!
This whole thing has been the most amazing thing I've ever seen, without question. They handed me that baby girl and I cried like a baby myself. I swore that I wouldn't, but boy was I wrong! LOL
We had tried for 10 years of being married and this wasn't "supposed" to happen, but it happened...we had a little help from medical science...and I'm thankful that the good Lord made us humans smart enough to figure out how to do some amazing things with the tools he gave us to work with.
My first attempt at taking her little shirt off and putting it back on was a struggle, to say the least...but I'm getting better at it. They wiggle. A lot. Getting those little arms in long sleeves is like trying to shove a night crawler through a drinking straw sometimes.
AND, I've changed 2 poop diapers....got peed on while changing the second one. LMAO Mama is just now able to get out of bed after the surgery and can't lift for awhile, so Daddy is the pack mule, diaper changer, and baby rocker. We're stuck in the hospital until Sunday!
What a ride so far...

Oh, it gets even better. When you are in an audience and your beautiful little angel is supposed to be quiet, expect loud noises to come from her diaper, burps that spray milk down the shoulder of your best suit, and warm wet spots to mysteriously appear on the leg of your pants. This whole thing has been the most amazing thing I've ever seen, without question. They handed me that baby girl and I cried like a baby myself. I swore that I wouldn't, but boy was I wrong! LOL

When they are about two, they talk at one volume..LOUD...and tell things you won't believe. When my daughter was two, we were sitting in church and the preacher was really getting into his sermon; the whole congregation was listenting intently. Suddenly a little voice announced loudly, "Mama, I gotta pee pee, Mama...Mama, I gotta pee pee!" The preacher never missed a beat when he said, "Mama, you had better hurry, somebody is about to spring a leak," and went on with his sermon.
Congratulations on your little angel. You are about to learn what unconditional love is all about from a tiny teacher with a big heart.
Be sure and make lots and lots of pictures and videos. The older the baby gets, the more valuable the pictures become....and don't forget to post a few for us to see.
I have a 23 and 21 yr old biological daughters and my 8 yr old son. Both of my girls were stubborn and did not want to come out of the Cozy accommodations of Mommy Hotel until 30 and 36 hours of labor, but can you blame them? Remember, when they are little they step on your toes, when they are older they step on your heart.
Congrats, nice slot Brownfish at Dale.
