Thumbs down Re: what is the best buddie tourment trail to fish ?

*This post is being made in response to previous posts that were deleted*

I am the director of KY-10 Guist Creek. We DID NOT have problemS this past season. We had one incident at our second tournament in which two teams disputed a no-wake area and no witnesses came forward to clarify whether or not a rules infraction had taken place. Am I and my assistant director to disqualify a team in a "he said, he said" instance? I did not see this so-called infraction with my own eyes, nor did anyone else (that spoke up at the weigh-in). The only witnesses were the two teams in question.

With that being said, tournament complaints (in writing) were to be filed BEFORE the weigh-in took place. The weigh-in had already began and while weighing fish, one of the two teams in question abruptly requested that a complaint will be filed. Based on this reasoning, the complaint was invalid and it was the complaintant's responsibility to make sure the complaint was filed BEFORE the weigh-in, not during, not after......

The complaintants also were provided with the option of submitting a polygraph test to the team in question for the rules infraction in which they promptly REJECTED.

Also, those who filed the complaint demanded that the prize money should be redistributed -- then they would be happy.

I spoke to several directors regarding the incident, including John Newton and USA Bassin's president and both proclaimed that we had made the correct decision. In leiu of this, we now appoint several boats as moderators to help "police" the lake during USA Bassin-sanctioned events to watch out for rules infractions. THERE WERE NO INCIDENTS REPORTED.

I personally apologize that the gentleman posting on fishin.com took it upon himself to make my division, as well as the USA Bassin organization look bad as a whole by posting distasteful comments, sending PMs, and emails about us. For the record, the complaintants and complaintees failed to attend any of the remaining events.

In my and my assistant's defense, if this division was so poorly ran then why did we average 19.6 boats per tournament? If this tournament division was ran so poorly, why did several teams congratulate us at the end of the season for a job well done? Anybody with sense would quit fishing the division after the first tournament if they were ran poorly.

Once again, I apologize if anyone has any hard feelings towards myself, my partner, KY-10 Guist Creek, or USA Bassin. I'm a composed adult who won't resort to childish bashing on an online forum.

Hey guys.I fished the Usabassin Guist Creek division last year. And want to say that it was ran very well. I was there when the incident occured at weigh in. And think it was handled in a professional manner. Just wanted to throw in my 2 cents.
