Which lake is going better laurel of cumberland?

Laurel hands down. Cumberland is like the dead sea anymore. Hope they continue to stock c-land with striper. God forbid they stock some bass over there. As for Laurel, I was there today. Caught some good fish. I tried the FNF with no results. Caught all my fish on a jig. Main Lake points, 45* banks w/chunk rock. GO SLOW and HANG ON

Had 4 keeper Largemouth on Cumberland today on black & blue jigs with a saphire blue Zoom swimmin chunk trailer with tail dyed chartreuse & a rattle attached. New brush with rock & not any weed. All were around 17 inches. Didn't get on the water until 12:30 & didn't get to fish long as something came up.

I heard if took over 15 lb. to win the new years day tournament on Cumberland.Anyone else have any info?

Hey guys thanks for all the info. Looks like its a toss up on where to go. Both sound to be doin pretty good.

well ended up going to cumberland and for the first 4 hours we only caught 3. And for the last 2 hours we picked up the alabama rig and smoked them. We caught close to 25. Largemouth and stripers. All in about 3-5 feet of water. water was around 50.1 to 48.0. stripers was fro 25in all the way to something around 40in.

Yes it sure was. I was putting the basstrix swimbaits on. But my buddie was useing the pre-riged storm shad swimbaits.
