I use 20 lb. PowerPro on my spinning reels and a 14 lb. fluoro leader - works extremely well and allows for some excellent casting distance as the 20 lb. braid dia. is the same as a 6 lb. mono - definitely use some mono as a backing to help fill the spool up first and then add only the amount of braid you need for a regular cast.Originally Posted by publican57
