Caught nearly 50 yesterday. Brush piles in 15-18 feet of water on 2-inch white tubes. About half were keepers with a couple of real nice ones.

There is only a few places to put in when the water is at winter pool : North fork Axtel Laurel Branch and state doc.. As to were to catch them ? It canges from day to day but when the water is up tuels creek is a favorite of alot of people and you can try back in Calamese creek.. A good fish finder will be your best friend this time of year..

We put in at Laurel Branch, but fished various sections of the lake. Most of the areas we had success were located near the channel edge. Water was about 10 feet below summer pool and they were pulling it pretty good. This was on Tuesday, so things could have changed.
