I was thinking about this more and I think the only thing people are upset with is that the soldiers took out their private parts, exposed themselves and urinated in public. Actually exposing yourself is a crime. Now if I was a soldier I would be so happy to say that I killed those al quida idiots that I would take out my gun and go from one to the next and put another bullet in their forehead and say that this is for Sept 11th and to all the other victims and families you have killed for your hero bin laden. SInce bin laden got it in the forehead they should have it also. Heck they could have kicked them or took a pipe or peace of wood and beat them. I mean peeing on them was the lesser of those things I would think. Dont people realize the feeling those soldiers must have felt killing al quida. What an adreline rush to kill such evil enemies.
What he said!I don't think there was as much shock over the bodies of American soldiers being desecrated because we expect it from the Taliban...that's why they are the bad guys, the enemy, the evil in the equation. They have shown over and over what kind of people they are. We're the good guys because we hold more regard for human life than those ******** do. That's one of the main reasons we're there trying to kill them off ain't it? If we didn't hold more regard for human life, we'd just nuke the whole **** country and be done with it. It would be much easier. Lord knows the Taliban would do it to our country if they had half the chance.
I agree with his reprimand for the Marines...shouldn't be anything heavier than that.
wouldn't it be nice, if everyone in the world could wake up in the morning. and find that all the hate and killing in the world had all been a dream. and the whole world loved each other, and every leader from ever country worked together for the better of us all. and war was something that no one new anything about.
That would last for exactly 1/1 billionth of a second. you CANNOT change human nature.wouldn't it be nice, if everyone in the world could wake up in the morning. and find that all the hate and killing in the world had all been a dream. and the whole world loved each other, and every leader from ever country worked together for the better of us all. and war was something that no one new anything about.
If everyone was on the same playing field and we were in one BIG ASS love fest, someone would piss someone else off, and a WAR would be started.
the way it is.........
Later,
Geo
Funny you should mention that...60 Minutes just ran a segment on Qatar, a city that lies between Sadia Arabia and Iran. There aren't any protests or demonstrations there. Supposedly the 250,000 Qatari citizens are the richest people in the world and there are NO TAXES.wouldn't it be nice, if everyone in the world could wake up in the morning. and find that all the hate and killing in the world had all been a dream. and the whole world loved each other, and every leader from ever country worked together for the better of us all. and war was something that no one new anything about.

Lol heck man I bet there were fights at Woodstock and that was a drug induced love fest!wouldn't it be nice, if everyone in the world could wake up in the morning. and find that all the hate and killing in the world had all been a dream. and the whole world loved each other, and every leader from ever country worked together for the better of us all. and war was something that no one new anything about.![]()
I watch 60 Minutes every week, and that was a VERY interesting piece! But Qatar is a country, not a city. And it's leader, the emir, is an interesting dude. Not your average Middle Eastern leader, by a long shot. And what he's doing with Al Jazeera is extraordinary.Funny you should mention that...60 Minutes just ran a segment on Qatar, a city that lies between Sadia Arabia and Iran. There aren't any protests or demonstrations there. Supposedly the 250,000 Qatari citizens are the richest people in the world and there are NO TAXES.

I think we all agree that our service men and women are true heros but this act was as far away from heroic as it gets. You killed them, they're dead and anything else you decide to do to the bodies after that is on you.
I'm sure there are strict rules/laws the military has in place to prevent anyone from doing things like this because I don't think they want it happening so they have no choice but to follow the rule of the law to prevent anyone else from doing it or at least make them think twice about it.
A question I asked myself was should we hold our service men and women to much higher standards than the scum we are fighting that do the beheadings, hang bodies, drag bodies.......
If you want to say it in English as close as possible to the Arabic pronunciation...say "CUTTER"
If you tried to actually pronounce it in Arabic, it would sound like one of the peanuts from your Coke got lodged in your throat and caused you to hack up a lung.
Just say "Cutter" and if anyone gets offended, tell them to drop you off at the next stoplight and take another cab.
