If you have never walked in those Marine grunts boots....you really will never understand this incident. Certainly John McCain and any of the other POW's that went thru the hell of the Hanoi Hilton deserve our respect...but if you don't think the he or any of the other POW's there at that time would have done this and more to their captors that were torturing them, killing them etc if they had a chance at the time then you are kidding yourself. It is easier to be self rightous after you have been back in the good life for 40 years and especially when you are in the limelight of the media.
