We had a blast today fishing the Ohio river for carp today. My 11 year old was tickled pink. We will be there tomorrow as well. Beats sitting on the couch! If your bored come on out. Check out the site for pictures.

I have to say that actually looks like a lot of fun. Whats the technique?

When your fishing with those jigs and grubs, how to you use them, cast out and real in? Cast out and bounce like a worm? Cast out and let sit? Or some combination of those three?

We went back yesterday and caught even more. its kinda snagging I guess. I just throw the jig out and bounce/jig it back in and you usually will snag one. We also caught Gar, Drum, Crappie, Striper and a few small bass. No saugar though!! Put some new pics on the page. We caught a huge big head on a medium action with 8lb test. My two boys had a blast. They said there arms hurt this morning.
