Hats off to BHO for that one. The Cuba move was long overdue. Any student of history could've told you that embargos never work. Let Cubans get a taste of American freedom and opportunity and things will turn around.

WEll at least he did some good things, I am really upset with his health care plan because its not near as good as the one the republicans and all the members of congress proposed. Oh wait a minute they did not propose anything come to think of it and I get a real kick about the comments well I not gonna vote for him ,hell you didn't vote for him last time either and he made it and probably will again like it or not. Does anyone on here have signs in their yard showing their support for anyone ? Do you send money via paypal or attend any meetings to raise money for your candidate? Cause rather you like it or not your opposition is doing all the above. Geo and I are about as far apart as two guys could be politically but I bet he sends a few bucks and packs a decal when his decision is made. Our President rather you like him or not will never set his eyes on this or any other fishing site. so he does not know your distrust ,your hate or anything else start supporting visually for your neighbors to see and spend a buck or five Mr Obama will see that. Just my humble opinion on a predominately republican site.

Nazi Joseph Goebbels is known for saying, "Make a lie big enough, and repeat it often enough, and eventually people will believe it". That statement's a pretty good example of that.

Joe, the House GOP proposed an alternative health care plan in 2009. It would have allowed states, associations and small businesses to pool together to offer health insurance, lowering costs. It would have given tax credits to low and middle income Americans to help them buy health insurance. And it would also let dependents under twenty-five stay on their parent's health insurance. Instead of Obama's nearly 2000 pages, it was four pages. It would have done a lot of good.

It would NOT have created a massive government bureaucracy, infringed on our personal liberties, bankrupted the nation, killed Medicare, given doctors a reason to drop out of med school, or led to health care rationing.

No offense, Joe...but if Barack doesn't know of the distrust and disdain for his actions by now than he obviously doesn't own a tv, a blackberry, or have the Internet at the White House. Me sending 5 bucks of my hard earned cash to a super PAC or putting a Newt sticker on my truck will have little to no additional effect. My vote is the biggest thing I've got.

Barack knows. Barack just doesn't care. He has enough liberal cronies pumping sunshine (and votes) up his ass to make him feel warm and fuzzy. His way is the righteous way in his and many democrat minds.

Never sent money to a potus campaign and never will. I do subscibe to causes/magazines I feel passionate about like the NRA. I feel politicians (now) are crooks or scumbags and not worth a dime.....and i mean all of them! I mean all they do is live off my dollar and lie, cheat and steal their way into self prosperity while the country has to pay for their mistakes.
As far as putting bumper stickers? Don't do that either.
What I have done and continue to do is write my state reps or even contact city reps on issues I feel strongly about (thanks to Grumpys suggestion) which kinda satisfies my gripe. To each his own and Im still praying for some real change!!

The lion's share of that list could be condensed to: Expanding the federal government to a previously unheard of scope without paying for any of it, and pushing a great country toward western European style social democracy.

The Dimocrat party thinks the constitution is a joke, and we're too stupid to take care of ourselves, so the government should do it. Sadly there is significant segment of society that wants the federal government to do just that.

It's not a very impressive list. We all saw how his investment in alternate energy turned...threw a half a billion dollars away on Solyndra. He raised fuel economy standards = higher gas prices in a struggling economy. And you forgot he spent more money than the past ten presidents combined. That's a sorry deal for the price! Wanna buy a used car? I'll sell ya' one! The blue smoke coming from the exhaust is because it's a high performance engine.

Re: A Sample Of Promises Kept

The more I read this list the more it looks like a mistake list. My gosh its full of fund this, establish that, create this, provide that, extend, invest, bebuild....how about things like fix the economy, reduce debt and things that actually could help all of us. I'm amazed he hangs his hat on this stuff. Looks like an effort to give give give money away and money comes from you and me!!
