    best knot

anyone know a proven knot for nanofil to attach to mono, 1st time user i know of the double polymer knot for baits, but what about tying leader, figure will have the first part of the spool mono and the second nanofil because it is expensive.

    Thank you

    Doublie Uni.....for backing.

Double Uni or Surgeons knot for leaders.

In my opinion the Modified Albright is the best line to line knot. Its very easy to tie and super super strong. Your line will break before the knot does.

I tie a double nail knot to connect braid and mono. I bought a little tool several years ago that makes it easy. The knot at the lure will usually break before the double nail. BTW, is Nanofil as good as they say?

Double uni all the way. I've sold many people on that knot.

First off thanks for the info will look them up. Never fished with it yet, did an experiment with a 32oz bait before i stripped the string. Barely threw it past the rod maybe 5', then after i did one reel total respool, I threw it about 20'. Very slippery string need special knots on it. Heard lot of good from a freind of mine. By the way that was 6lb test on a medium light rod throwing a 32oz jig.
