I tie the same pattern but on a 1/64oz jig. Just the black rabbit hairs and a couple strands of krystal flash for the tail (using the hair on the hide would make it to heavy), black mohair for the body and RED THREAD for a collar. We call it the "dog flea flY with the jump removed", ( you can get um at Bills hardware down in Cumberland). Thanks to my Bud D.T. for naming this and the yuks and fun. We never hurt nobody just sent a blow rod off shaking his head after we caught a few fish more than him. No joke this is a good pattern..trout, smallies, and gills., I like it under an indicator.
