    Green River Lake Musky

Anyone having any luck on green with musky this time of the year? Would like to go this weekend, just have not fished it this time of the year before.

Thumbs up Re: Green River Lake Musky

I was down at the dock by the "Ice Box" yesterday and seen a guy catch 2 nice ones. Casting what looked like a large minnow-like crank.

Tracker, do you remember about what time he caught the 2 muskies? We were fishing the ice box from about 10:00 am until dark and I video'ed a guy catch his first muskie at 2:20 PM on a small crank bait. We netted it for him. That was the only one we saw caught while we were there.

I'm just wondering if we got there too late.

First one about 8 am and the second shortly thereafter. I left about 8:30 so I don't know what happened after that.

First one was in the chute going in. Second was by the 'jug' at the end of the flat.

Thanks for the info. It's hard for us to get over there very early unless we spend the night nearby. Takes about an hour and 45 minutes for us to be on the water at GRL.

Drove around the upper end of the lake today. Every creek is over it's banks and muddy. Expect rising, muddy waters.

Was that just off the parking lot, near the lot entrance?
