I have been in it several times sitting on the bottom of Cumberland River so I know it wont hurt it,

Seen that done and mines been grounded on the CR many a time. Made me think if your gonna ground it put some 3"or 4" pipes under it as this will allow it to roll instead of being dead weight on the ground. Will help with winching it back on trailer.
